St Martin provides an extensive array of daytime and nighttime entertainment. St Martin Blue encourages our guests to take advantage of the numerous activities and excursions the island offers. For entertainment during the day, the local beach bars offer an attractive area to unwind and relax as you take in the pristine views of the Caribbean. Orient Beach offers several beach bars that serve food and tropical drinks accompanied by sultry French Caribbean music. Other areas that offer beach bars are Baie Rouge, Mullet Bay, Maho Beach, Simpson Bay, Dawn Beach, Grand Case beach and Pinel Island. Other ideas for daytime entertainment is a round of golf at Mullet Bay or a visit to Loterie Farms to glide through the air with their zip lines.

At sunset, tourists will flock to Sunset Beach Bar and other western facing beach bars to capture a breathtaking Caribbean sunset and seek out the illusive "green flash."

As the sun dives below the horizon, most Caribbean islands become sleepy, however the nightlife on St Martin starts to heat up in Maho, Orient and Grand Case. Gaming is permitted on the Dutch side and as always we encourage moderation. While the capitals of Marigot and Phillipsburg tend to be quiet at night, the following areas offer unique entertainment destinations.

Cupecoy

Cupecoy offers exceptional dining and a casino. The Atlantis Casino plaza features some of the top dining on St Maarten. The highly rated restaurants of Temptation, Rare and Montmartre invite epicureans to dine in excellence. For those that seek out the best vantage point for sunsets, drop by the Cliffhanger bar for a relaxed atmosphere and stunning sunset views.

Maho

Maho is considered the nightlife center with it's numerous restaurants, shops, bars, clubs and casino. Maho plaza caters to families, couples and singles. Cheri's café is an attractive draw for families hoping to have interactive fun with a lively band. Maho features two popular nightclubs with Bliss and Club Q. Additionally, Maho features a piano bar, ice cream stand, art gallery as well as nightly street entertainment.

Orient

The nightlife in Orient is centered in Orient Bay village with frequent free concerts. Take in the Caribbean ambiance at the local outdoor cafes enshrouded with pastel Creole houses.

Grand Case

Grand Case features restaurant row offering the best per capita dining in the Caribbean. Visit our restaurant section for recommendations. Tuesdays in the high season are popular party days in Grand Case known as Harmony nights. Vehicles are prohibited and the streets become the sole domain for pedestrians. Local arts and crafts are displayed in a carnival like environment with reggae bands and steel drums in the background. A true Caribbean experience after dining at world renowned restaurants.
