Villa La Nina St Martin.  Set as it is in the private community of Terres Basses, in St. Martin, the Villa La Nina is a good choice for those who want a true Caribbean experience. Surrounded by lush tropical growth, and offering large and private grounds, this two bedroom villa provides a surprisingly ample list of upscale amenities.

La Nina shares a modern fitness center and tennis court with it's sister villa La Pinta (4 bedrooms). However, within the villa itself you find a large swimming pool, wraparound sundeck, and massive covered terrace area that provides an array of niches for lounging, dining, and socializing. Walking between the mature palms that dot the terrace, you can make your way to the gazebo with its massive banquet sofa and al fresco dining area. You might stroll to the breakfast bar to sip a cool drink or enjoy your morning coffee gazing out on the view.

Stepping through the enormous portals into the interior spaces, you would enjoy access to a beautifully designed living room area, fitted with modern and comfortable furnishings and inspiring decor. This space leads you to an indoor dining area opening into the enormous gourmet kitchen. Equipped with every possible convenience, it is open to the terrace and allows you to enjoy the scenery and sea breezes, even as you prepare meals.

There are two large and inviting bedrooms in the villa as well. Both bedrooms have king size beds, en suite bathrooms, and entertainment systems.

The Villa La Nina is a wonderful find for anyone who wants a truly private, tropical escape. Just a short distance from excellent beaches, it can be the perfect setting for a family holiday or vacation with friends.

  • Cancellation Policy: For cancellations greater than 61 days prior to arrival, 30% of gross rental rate is forfeited. For cancellation between 60 to 31 days of arrival, 55% of gross rental is forfeited. Cancellation less than 30 days, 100% of gross rental is forfeited. Please note all Christmas and New Years reservations are non-refundable.

For new bookings the manager is modifying the cancellation policy as follows:
~ If guests cancel the reservation more than 14 days prior to arrival, 10% of the Gross Rental will be forfeited.
~ For cancellations less than 14 days prior to arrival, 100% of the Gross Rental will be forfeited.

The Covid-19 Modified Cancellation Policy applies under the following conditions: 

~ New dates must be approved by the owner.
~ New dates can only be booked on the same property.
~ Christmas and New Years week, president's week, and Easter week are not available
~ There will be no partial refund if there is a difference in the rate if booked in the Low Season.
~ There will be a rate adjustment if there is a difference in the rate if booked in the High Season
~ A 7-night minimum stay will be required for High Season 2021/22
~ The relaxed cancellation policy does not apply in case of force majeure

If a client is booked to stay on the French side but he or she is landing in St. Maarten then they are eligible for a credit or a cancellation. However, if a client is booked to stay in a St. Maarten property then they are not automatically eligible for cancellation. They are eligible if the booking was made prior to the closure of the border. If the booking is made with the knowledge of the border closure and they can access the property then they are not automatically eligible for a credit or a cancellation. 

Covid-19 extenuating circumstances:

~ Death of the leading guest and additional guests due to Covid-19. You will be required to provide one of the following,
      • Death certificate
      • Obituary
      • News article naming the deceased
      • Police report

~ Transportation disruptions that make it impossible to travel to your destination. This includes travel disruptions caused by natural disasters that make it impossible to reach the property. You’ll be asked to provide documentation from the airline that the flight was canceled and supporting documentation confirming that it's not possible to travel to your destination.
~Travel restrictions imposed by a government, law enforcement agency, or military that restrict travel to the destination.

Common Questions
Do we share the villa? click to close
No. You will not share the villa with another party. The villa is exclusively yours. If a larger villa offers a lower bedroom rate category, the villa will remain exclusively yours but the unrented bedrooms will be locked off.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.

Yes. St. Martin Blue stands behind you throughout your entire vacation. Unlike other companies, each property we offer has been hand picked to ensure that our standards are met. All property managers are vetted and payments are required to be held in escrow. Our primary obligation is to ensure your satisfaction and to have an exceptionally memorable vacation.
Can you explain the reservation process? click to open
Once a reservation request is received, St. Martin Blue will request a contract from the property manager for your dates of interest. Once the dates are confirmed and contract is received from the property manager, a payment will be required to confirm your reservation.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.
Can we arrange an early check in? click to open
Early check in may be possible but is at the sole discretion of the property manager. Early check in permission may not be granted until 24 hours prior to arrival.
Can we arrange a late check out? click to open
A late check out is rarely granted due to the turnover needs of a villa. A late check out may only be granted 24 hours prior to your departure from the property and only when there is no check in scheduled on the day of your check out. If a late check out is urgently needed please contact us.
Are transfers to the property included? click to open
Select villas may include a one way or roundtrip airport transfer while others may provide an escort or meeting point. Arrival logistics will be handled by your dedicated concierge as well as other concierge needs. The property's transfer policy will be listed under the Policies section.
What to expect upon arrival? click to open
In general, a villa orientation will be provided along with a key turnover. During the orientation, information and instructions for the property will be provided. Emergency contact information will be provided. We are available 7 days a week to assist with any urgent needs.
The arrival procedures due vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.

Since these vacation homes are one of a kind properties, the cancellation policy is strict. We highly recommend considering trip/travel insurance to protect against any unexpected cancellations or issues that may arise.

What happens if the property becomes unavailable after I reserve? click to open
In the unlikely event, the rented property becomes unavailable due to a major issue that may affect a guest's experience or a transfer of ownership, St. Martin Blue will coordinate with the property manager to find an alternate property of equal or superior standard that is subject to the guest's approval. If an alternate property is not acceptable to the guest, the guest will receive a full refund.

Yes, we accept all major credit cards. American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted. Please note that credit card charges may be subject to additional fees. There are no fees with payment by wire transfer or check.
In the near future, we expect to accept a greater variety of payment methods and currencies via Stripe.
Is housekeeping included? click to open
Housekeeping tends to be a standard among vacation homes but the frequency may vary greatly depending on the property manager’s standards. Most properties will offer daily housekeeping (except Sunday and holidays) while other villas may only provide a mid-week cleaning. Please refer to the Policies section to learn about the housekeeping frequency of the property.

Yes. The property will provide bath and pool towels along with linens. Towels and linens will be refreshed as needed.
Are toiletries and tissues provided? click to open
A property may supply an initial supply of soap, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels but replenishment of supplies once exhausted may be the responsibility of the guest. Each property varies in their handling of toiletries and paper products.

A hair dryer should be available at the property. Upon arrival, please check the bathrooms or closet. Typically, a hair dryer is included in each bathroom.

Typically yes, irons tend to be standard equipment for vacation homes. Please ask the property representative upon orientation for the location of the iron.

The villa was beautiful. Everything about it was first class. The peace and serenity made this the most relaxing vacation I’ve had.
Services Comments: When we got off the plane, your man was waiting to take us to the villa. When we got to the villa, our rental car was waiting and the concierge was there to show us the villa and tell us how everything worked. It was such a smooth transition. We were totally impressed! Everything was wonderful
Restaurant Recommendations: Our favorite dinner restaurants are Spiga and La Villa in Grand Case and Moulin Fou. Our favorite lunch place is Tropicana in Marigot and favorite breakfast place is Zee Best.

Our family had such a terrific week in this beautiful property. The pool is great (tho it was not fully pre-heated before our arrival). The open feeling of the communal areas (even if all the sliding doors are closed) was a pleasure, overlooking the infinity pool and lovely ocean views that include sunsets. The bedroom/bathrooms were all tastefully decorated, and with good beds. The open kitchen is fully equipped by someone serious about food, and there is even an nespresso machine and a supply of pods. We appreciated the welcome package which could have gotten us through the first couple of days.There were a few few little glitches as one can expect in any house, but all were corrected promptly. There is also an issue with the water supply which comes either from the cistern or from the local water system and sometimes needs to be manually switched. This may be true of any house in the area, and again it was always quickly addressed by the lady who is by her phone 24 hours a day and promptly contacts the appropriate person.

We loved this house, and struggle to find anything about it that wasn't perfect. The home was beautiful, well decorated and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The outdoor space was lovely, a beautiful pool, covered sofa/dining area and lounge chairs with umbrellas.
Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to help us and make sure our stay was wonderful.
We will certainly be back to the wonderful island in the future, and when we start making our plans we'll start with booking this beautiful home. Enjoy!

Villa was great, would highly recommend it. The house is very inviting and the outdoor covered sitting area is great when the evening showers roll in. Don't know if the bug spray system really worked all that great, but no worries. The pool and patio was great and the privacy was better than expected with the second house. The house is in a great location and as always the island is perfect with its beaches, restaurants and friendly people. The staff was extremely friendly and prompt. Having the rental car at the house and ready to go was really nice.

Villa was excellent. Maid, pool, and grounds maintenance services also amazing. We suggested to Carimo that the couches in the indoor space could be upgraded - not as comfortable as I would have expected. Otherwise, as noted, we were impressed with the villa and all the amenities.
Both St. Martin Blue and Carimo provided excellent service. Very responsive and attentive without being overbearing. Thank you.

The staff was awesome. Starting with the concierge in the US (Mary), to the local concierge (Medhi), housekeeping, drivers, Fabulous Feast personnel ( chef Tomas and waitress Charlotte). Just can’t say enough.

Restaurant Recommendations: Bistrot Caribes was awesome. Others like Ocean 82, Rainbow Cafe were also great.
Activity Recommendations: Xisle boat charters was great. Fabulous Feast are incredible

Nid D'amour was magnificent. House is updated, clean, comfortable, and the view is spectacular. Pool was warm (important for my husband), beds INCREDIBLY comfy, kitchen stocked. (they could update their music situation which is circa 1980, but not listening to our own music was eclipsed by views and other house comforts) As great as the house is, the real bonus of this property was the concierge, Axel, and house keeper, Paula. The two took care of our every need and curiosity and were available to us 24/7. No matter how beautiful a spot is, it's the people who truly make a vacation. They were 5 full stars.

Isle Blue could not have been easier to work with. Planning a last minute vacation and they were very accommodating on money transfers and everything. Wonderful.
